Tucked away in a small brick building next to the Garment District's Santee Alley, you'll find the first stop on MADE IN LA's production line. Our ethically-sourced clothing is hand-sewn together by this family-owned and operated small business shop in Downtown Los Angeles.
From DTLA to South Central, our sustainably-produced clothing is then brought to the heart of Koreatown to be dyed and washed. Our organic cotton T-shirts are given their texture, raw canvas bags get softened up, and organic linen hats are saturated with color.
The creative collective Small Green Door works to ensure every product is ethically-sourced, locally-made, and sweatshop-free, while every box creates as little waste as possible. When your imperfect package arrives at your door you'll know it was made with a kind of love only ethical labor can provide.
Once they're sewn together, our MADE IN LA shirts, hats, and bags are brought over to our screen printer in South Central. Here, our locally-made clothing gets tagged with the iconic logo that became famous on Melrose Avenue.
